What do I need to know?

Not much.

To make proper use and get great mileage out of the Windows Layout Manager there are a few concepts that are important to know about and understand. I promise, this is not hard and should not be painful to learn. If it does turn out to be painful, read the EULA. I'm not responsible for any physical pain you may allege to have suffered from attempting to use this software.

If you understand all three concepts, everything else will fall into place automatically, just like the windows and layouts that are managed by the Windows Layout Manager.
