Introduction

I hate writing end-user manuals. I've done some of it in the past 20 years and I still hate it, with a passion. That being the case you can expect this help file to be a little different than what you may have come accustomed to. Who ever reads manuals! It is entirely possible that only two people would read all this and I'd be one of them. Did I already mention I hate writing manuals for software?

If you have downloaded this software you probably already have an idea what it does. The Windows Layout Manager was primarily developed for personal use but by popular demand y'all convinced me to release it to the public as a free application with minimal restrictions.

What does it do?

The short version: allows you to position and scale many windows on your desktop with ease.

The long version, well, for that you will have to read through this document and experiment a little with the application. There are a considerable number of options and features that may not be entirely clear without having gone through the mandatory RTFM (read the FUNNY manual?) process. I suggest you start by looking at a list of some of the features. You can also skip reading the documentation and just focus on the tutorials that are provided.
